Monteverde Cloud Forest

The guided visit to this impressively dense cloud forest will allow you to enjoy an unforgettable experience to one the most researched and protected private reserves in the world. Also the possibility to observe some of the wildlife of this lifezone, like birds; Resplendent Quetzal, Emerald Toucanet, costarican Warbler, Black faced Solitaire, and some others.
With fortune some mammals like; Sloth, howler monkey, spider monkey, white faced capuchin monkeys, Central american Agouti, White nosed Coati and others.
Monteverde reserve has very well done and clean trails which facilitates the mobility along different sectors of the forest and elevations.

Meeting point
- At Monteverde Preserve reception.
- Note: Official parking area is half a mile before the meeting point and has an additional cost of $5, then shared transportation is offered to and back from the reserve.

- This activity requires good weather conditions. If it’s canceled before the start due to difficult weather, you’ll not be charged for canceling.
- This is a regular group tour which could be a maximum of 6 people (if not family).
- If you prefer a private activity we can arrange it for a different price.
- You will receive a confirmation reply when you book it.
- A minimum of 2 people per booking is required.
- Trails are not wheelchair accessible.
